Usually I could care less about American football, but when I found this video, I couldn't get enough of it: on Thursday, October 26, 2017's Ravens-Dolphins NFL game, a cat took to the field! I love that not only did they capture the kitty on video, but they caught kitty on slow-mo and included commentary from Tony Romo: like the cat was one of the athletes (which we know cats are). Hey, maybe kitty wanted to join the game? You can see the kitty's beautiful running form captured live on TV--and now shared across YouTube! Watch the video here:

Those of us with chronic ailments, emotional ups and downs, and consistent pain could really use a self-care kit filled with all the things to make the tough times a little better.
I'm working on my own self-care kit and list of awesome helpful items, but in the meantime, I really like the one that Juliette Virzi shared on The Mighty below.
What will you add to your self-care kit? Mine will definitely include stuffed animals (particularly ones that can heat up), my heated blanket, and my TENS machine to name a few. Get some ideas for your self-care kit below!

I haven't been feeling top-notch lately, so I missed the Karaoke Song of the Week on Friday this week, and altogether last week...but, as I am reminded by this quote...
I'm going to say "plot twist!" and give you our Karaoke Song of the Week today: Sia's Chandelier.
I love Sia's rich and haunting voice: and she has so many moving and powerful songs. This one is not her mort "powerful" song, but is probably the one you know best by her--a good intro for any Sia newbies. I'll be sure to share some more of her videos and lyrics for karaoke how-to's in the future.

Xeli (pronounced Zeelee) has joined the Denver International Airport's CATS team--which believe it or not has only had dogs until this point. That's because CATS stands for Canine Airport Therapy Squad...well move over dogs, because here comes your first therapy cat!

It's that time of the week: Friday's Karaoke Song of the Week How-To! This week, I chose a song that is another favorite of mine (yes, I have a lot of favorite songs), but is actually at a low range that is a bit tough for me to sing: "Feeling Good" by Michael Bublé! I love Mr. Bublé's voice—it just sounds as smooth as butter to me. This song in particular is my favorite of his: filled with a wide vocal range, with an awesome musical ensemble.

I wanted to punch this blog up with some more fun—and some more of my personality! Since I LOVE karaoke, I decided to make a weekly how-to post called "Friday's Karaoke Song of the Week!" Why Friday?
